I'm a teen and Ive been wearing the same make-up for so long I need some advice.?
Wear eyeliner around the rims below your eye, on top and apply a bit of black eyeshadow it looks gorgeous and makes your eyes magical.
also go bold with your lip gloss use a sparkley bright pink or a maroonish purple it looks really good with brown eyes.
Blush is definatley something to say away from unless you find there is a problem in your face, eg pimples, big nose etc
Personally i wear a bit of blue eyeliner (so it looks glamourus)
mascara and this amazing hot lips pink lip gloss that isn't sticky to your hair and doesn't come off when you touch your lips yet its like every other lipgloss
hoped i helped!I'm a teen and Ive been wearing the same make-up for so long I need some advice.?
hey, what you need is some ';fresh'; make up. It is totaly cute, sassy, chick, and not too much, just the right touch for the day.
Hope this helps!

Go to a M.A.C counter and have them do your make-up. If you like it you can buy the products on the spot, if not just walk out ,go home, and wash off
That's one of my pet peeves- people not changing their look. Hair grows out %26amp; makeup washes off. You can buy makeup books or magazines. Try different looks, different colors, even colors that you automatically dislike. I saw this deep fushia/pink once %26amp; thought - Who would wear that? but tried it, %26amp; it became my favorite!
some people go to department stores and ask the people at estee lauder or clinique. they'll be able to identify your skin type but otherwise they aren't really experts. it's good to spend a lot of money on something like skin products or concealor but otherwise i'd say try some cheap, fun colors from the drugstore or subscribe to sephora and see what's new in the makeup world.
wearing make up will make ur skin harmful bcoz the make up is full of chemical..to prevent it try using moisturizer bfore u apply the foundation on ur face to protect ur skin from clogs pore...try to find the best way to make up ur face...
change your make-up
I also like Allure magazine. GIves you some great ideas on trends, new stuff and good ideas on what to use and how to use it.
I don't find the hard copy too expensive.
use a different type of make-up.
JUST DON'T WEAR MAKE UP AT ALL

I have no idea what you're talking about. For older women and teen girls from younger who needs advice*PLEASE HELP* ND BOYYSSS?
(im a guy) what kind of shallow guy would care if you are wearing matching underwear. maybe if you were lesbian (girls tend to be more shallow :P)
if i liked you in anyway, you will be the only thing in my mind. girls say im attractive and hot but i find that curvy/women with weight is so sexy. dont be ashamed we love women of all shapes
That made milnimal sense...but, no guy should care if your bra or panties match. And you shouldn't worry about a guy eating you out or kissing you. Why have you seen a lot of this though? Just let it happen naturally.
wait what? are you saying that there's these guys who want you but you're insecure? or that you're looking for a guy who will want you the way you are. I'm confused.
if a guy truly likes you he shouldnt care.
hopefully you arent going to go around doing that stuff with random guys. but if they say somethin bad about your body or anything then they dont deserve getting a piece of you
Love yourself for who you are and don't worry what other people think. Just as long as you were clean undergarments, who cares if they match! Don't worry about this stuff so much. Good Luck
do what your worring about
You are making NO sense! What is this question even about?
If your primary concern when it comes to being sexually active is insecurities about your body, you should know that for one, it's normal, and for two, if it is so pressing on you that it makes you not want to get involved, then you shouldn't.
We all have insecurities about our bodies, both men AND women. Being naked with another person is a very sensitive and personal moment, especially the first time.
If you don't want to worry about those things as much for your first time with someone, you should make sure to establish a solid relationship with that person first. Let them fall for you and who you are, before bringing sex into the equation. That way, you already trust the person to care for you and not hurt you when the moment comes to become sexually active with them.
Guys really don't care about big thighs, stretch marks, matching underwear, all those things... I read once that you shouldn't worry about those things with men, because all they really want is to get an eyeful... lol... I'm a bigger girl myself, and I have gone through a lot of insecurity moments... I have pushed through some of them thinking I was being stupid, and then realized later that it wasn't because of my body so much as I didn't trust the guy to continue caring for me after they saw my body. I then decided to wait, and I found a man that I truly believed cared for me, and so when I finally did let down my guard and take off my clothes with him, I was nervous but not scared. You know what? He was so excited to be skin to skin with me that I completely forgot about my stretch marks or the scar I have here or there or anything of that sort. We had an amazing time, because we already cared for each other, and I knew he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.
So I guess my point is, you need to establish a trust before you put yourself in such a vulnerable place. You can even discuss it directly with your potential partner beforehand (that's what we did) so to make sure they understand where you are coming from.
I also found it helpful to read some sexual health books, there are many out there, that discuss the female body and what's normal... Because many of them have pictures and things, as well as stories from women that have been through these things, and you can see how normal your worries really are.

Teen Mommy-To-Be In Need For ALOT Of Advice. . .?
Im 18 %26amp; 32 Weeks Pregnant. I Feel like im showing signs that labor is coming soon. Ive tried asking my mom %26amp; she just freeks me out even more. Im Losing Weight, Leaking From my vagina and breasts, i feel like shes about ready to fall out sometimes because shes pushing down so hard, i have stomach cramps everyday atleast 4-6 times a day, i have headaches, swelling %26amp; im not as hungry as i use to be.
since im so young i realize preterm labor is already a risk. Im just nerves to have a baby in the hospital for weeks because she came to early. my last ultrasound she was 4 lbs, %26amp; a good size for being 32 weeks.
any advice?Teen Mommy-To-Be In Need For ALOT Of Advice. . .?
Your questions need answering. Call your doc and see her today.Teen Mommy-To-Be In Need For ALOT Of Advice. . .?
I was 18 when I had my first and he didnt wanna come OUT so everyone is different... but you will notice alot of different things...
its scary but you will know when your in labor try to relax and not worry about it so much... she shouldnt come out yet only cuz your 32 weeks and still is putting baby fat on...
The leaking is NORMAL i had that too and it freaked me out but just try relaxing it helps...
call your doctor and ask because u could be in early labor im 18 and ill be 32 weeks Wednesday don't be scared if she is 4 ibs that's very good and i say she wont have to stay in the hospital that long if at all because i know a girl that had a baby at 32weeks and got to take her home the same day she went home just call the doctor or the hospital and tell them what is going on
Pray, and don't worry about all the scary stories, because every pregnancy is different, so you can not judge by that. All those thing you described is normal in pregnancies. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND YOU BABY IS GOING TO BE JUST FINE.
Like the person before me said, Braxton Hicks contractions are normal. However if your contractions become 2 minutes apart or there is fluid leaking from your vaginal area that cannot be stopped (basically your bag broke) you need to contact your doctor right away.
hi, Sounds like labor could be coming soon for you but if it does, its coming for me too than.Im 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant and im having the same thing to me every day.I have no idea why i don't feel like eating and at my last scan (a week ago) my baby was 4 pounds 3 oz.So my baby is going to be little i guess anyways(like my first, 5 pound 13oz).I stayed in hospital 6 days and sweetie, its not that bad having a baby that small. If you were to go into labor now, they would stop it. As for the leaking from your vagina, that could be just some thrush due to infection near your cervix(like mine and now im on cream) and it doesn't hurt or smell or nothing like that.I thought my water had broken lol.Anyways good luck and congrats on your baby
P.S. i would get checked out by your doctor to see if the fluid you are loosing could be thrush or water. Also from now on,your baby will gain half a pound a week.Good luck
The headaches and swelling may be related to some pregnancy conditions that happen during pregnancy, called Preeclampsia. It usually shows itself with the signs of swelling of the extremities (hands, face, feet especially, pretty much any place that gravity is pulling fluids down).
You need to go to the doctor though. I mean honestly, if you go to the doctor they can give you medications to help stop your labor if this is an issue with your baby, or at least they can give you steriods to help develop the babies lungs a better chance of living if he/she is prematurely born. Going to the doctor is definitely not going to cause you to go into labor, but it definitely could save your life and your babies. If you are developing a pregnancy related disease such as preeclampsia giving birth any other way could cause you to die, and your child.
Good luck and please receive medical attention! It's important!
Welcome to pregnancy! Your body will do all kinds of wierd things. Braxton-Hicks contractions are normal and some women have them early, more regular and harder than other women. Pains like you describe can be nothing...wait for labor....now that is pain! Headaches could be hormonal pains, I had them a lot while pregnant, but if any of your symptoms max out then go to the hospital they are used to seeing first time moms overreacting to what feels like early symptoms of labor. You will know and 18 is not too young to be at such high risk, you are a ';normal'; age for handling pregnancy, just sit tight and rest up for the real thing! Good luck!
I'd say your best bet would be to have your dr do an internal exam at your next appt to see if you've started to become effaced or diliated. All of the symptoms you say are what you possibly think are signs of preterm labor are normal for this point in pregnancy. An increase in discharge from both the breasts and vagina are hormonal changes as your body gets ready for delivery. As are the headaches. Her moving into your birth canal is also normal. You not being hungry is due to all of your organs being squished together to make room for the baby and thus making you feel full longer. I've also lost about 5 lbs since 29 weeks. Good luck, she'll be here very soon!
your going to be ok and so is your little one i had my first son at 16 and he was born at 35 weeks 6lb 5oz, you do get less hungry you don't have as much room because as you get to the end the baby can gain about a 1/2 pound a week! yes it is completely normal for you to be leaking, you may notice you have lost your mucus plus wich is kinda gross lol but it will tell you that u are getting close. everything you have sais is normal. you maybe starting to dialate and eface, which will help your labor go faster! you will know the real contractions come they will get worse as each one comes. and they can feel like really bad cramps in your back, or they can feel like the worst pms cramps. just try to keep a watch with you to keep an eye on the ';cramps'; which are either real contractions or braxton hicks. when they do an internal exam they will be able to tell which kind they were. you could go any time or you can make it the full forty. for the swelling stay off your feet and elevate them. also ice packs on oyur feet amd ankels can help. the pressure is her moving further down the birth canal and into position. make sure tyou are drinking plenty of fluids to keep yourself from becoming dehydrated this could also cause swellin and headaches. i had contractions from 28 weeks on. by the time i was 33 weeks i was 3cm dialated and completely efaced. you will know when it is time i promise you that. i had all natural child birth, and when the baby is coming out your body takes over. it will push the baby out and you can't fight it. but you will know this way ahead of time. as for the baby she should be fine even if you went now. there are amazing things they can do. best of luck
You are young and as a young person, likely very active.
If this is the case then it is possible that your level of activity can be causing pre term labor.
The plus is that active women have it easier in the delivery room.
The minus is your baby needs these last 8 weeks.
Your baby's lungs need just a little more time, although if baby were born now it is unlikely that baby wouldn't be able to breathe on his/her own.
Baby would be too small and frail at 32 weeks as the last 2 months is a time of substantial weight gain for baby. Also while most babies are in the correct position by now, some babies turn later in the pregnancy..meaning there's a possibility baby could be breech.
If I were in the same position I'd see my doctor or head to an ER immediately about the leaking from the vagina as the fluid loss is bad for the baby and possibly dangerous depending on the amount of leakage ...leaking from the breasts is normal as your breasts are preparing to excrete milk for your baby and have already started producing it.Have your mother buy you nursing pads (whether or not you are going to breastfeed you'll need them) they get inserted into your bra and absorb the milk so that your clothing and bras don't get stained or wet.Washing the nipples with mild soap and warm water will ease some discomfort and help prevent the skin on your nipples from cracking and bleeding. Applying a color and scent free lotion or Vaseline to the nipples after washing will help also. Finally,if you are enrolled in school or have a job time off may be in order. I would relax and avoid stress and excessive lifting and bending over until after delivery. Avoid anything that puts pressure on your stomach as this will increase leaking of fluid.Wear loose fitting clothing and try to lay back or recline when sitting.Get up from sitting or laying positions SLOWLY and avoid stomach or side sleeping try to sleep on your back,I know it can be hard but it is best. Make an appointment immediately to see your doctor about the fluid you are losing, stay hydrated drink water, vitamin water,Gatorade or even Pedialyte so that your body can replace the lost fluid and electrolytes.I'd also start wearing a maxi pad to monitor the amount of fluid that is leaking.IF AT ANY point in time you feel a gush of fluid bigger than usual or that feels as though you may have peed yourself or any discharge of fluid that is followed by cramping pains get to a hospital IMMEDIATELY as this is a sign of labor and could indicate that your water has broken. It's unfortunate to hear that your doctor's an ***...it is true that it's harder to find care later on in pregnancy. You could contact a midwife for advice and help these last few months or upon one of the many ';I think I'm in labor'; hospital false alarm visits you are guaranteed to have ahead of you....tell the hospital about your problems and that your physician is unresponsive and appears not to be concerned. Tell them that you don't feel comfortable with him delivering your baby and they'll happily arrange for one of their doctors to at the very least take you on until delivery. :)
Congratulations on your little one and BEST of luck!!!
Well, I would say the water is ambiotic fluid, but I would consult a GP to see if this is normal, or if you're going to have a premature baby. As for labor being a higher risk at a younger age, that's a myth, it depends on the person and genetics. There are fifteen year olds that give birth just fine while a woman in her twenties and thirties will have minor to severe complications. To elaborate on that statement, there was a reason why girls were married off at 15 and 16 in the Edwardian era- because young women are extremely fertile and have easier pregnancies, so I don't know where you're getting the information that this is going to be a hard birth because you're on the young side of normal for having a child. Too bad your mother is being immature about this, it's not like you're 12, I'm getting so sick of the media condemning girls who are 16 and over for conceiving and having children- sh*t happens. Like I said, contact your GP to make sure this is normal, and tell your mother to grow up.
Thats normal in pregnancy i went in to pre term labor at 33wks and the stop it and i was still having contractions until i had my son and he was 2wks early if ur doctor thinks ur going into pre term then he or she will send u to the hospital!
First off you are not a teen mommy 18 is of legal age. Second, please sit down, and put your feet up, so that if you are in early labor, you can slow things down a little. What you are feeling in your lower abdomen or stomach is your pelvis stretching preparing for delivery or what is known as Braxton-Hicks. All the headaches and edema is not unusual during pregnancy. That's why putting your feet up is helpful to reduce the swelling. This happens to most women or mommy's to be during pregnancy. These are your last few weeks, and you are just tired of being pregnant and all sort of things are going to go through your head as you become closer to delivery. If after sitting down and elevating your feet doesn't ease some of these symptoms then of course PLEASE CONTACT YOUR OB/GYN.
no..no labor. just seems like regular aches and pains associated with that last trimester on its way....i hate to be the one to tell you that the closer you get to the ending the more uncomfortable it can get..don't worry about your mom she is more nervous than you cause you are her baby having a baby..she is gonna have a hard time seeing you in that much painthe bees

your going to be ok and so is your little one i had my first son at 16 and he was born at 35 weeks 6lb 5oz, you do get less hungry you don't have as much room because as you get to the end the baby can gain about a 1/2 pound a week! yes it is completely normal for you to be leaking, you may notice you have lost your mucus plus wich is kinda gross lol but it will tell you that u are getting close. everything you have sais is normal. you maybe starting to dialate and eface, which will help your labor go faster! you will know the real contractions come they will get worse as each one comes. and they can feel like really bad cramps in your back, or they can feel like the worst pms cramps. just try to keep a watch with you to keep an eye on the ';cramps'; which are either real contractions or braxton hicks. when they do an internal exam they will be able to tell which kind they were. you could go any time or you can make it the full forty. for the swelling stay off your feet and elevate them. also ice packs on oyur feet amd ankels can help. the pressure is her moving further down the birth canal and into position. make sure tyou are drinking plenty of fluids to keep yourself from becoming dehydrated this could also cause swellin and headaches. i had contractions from 28 weeks on. by the time i was 33 weeks i was 3cm dialated and completely efaced. you will know when it is time i promise you that. i had all natural child birth, and when the baby is coming out your body takes over. it will push the baby out and you can't fight it. but you will know this way ahead of time. as for the baby she should be fine even if you went now. there are amazing things they can do. best of luck
If after sitting down and elevating your feet doesn't ease some of these symptoms then of course PLEASE CONTACT YOUR OB/GYN.
no..no labor. just seems like regular aches and pains associated with that last trimester on its way....i hate to be the one to tell you that the closer you get to the ending the more uncomfortable it can get..don't worry about your mom she is more nervous than you cause you are her baby having a baby..she is gonna have a hard time seeing you in that much pain

-My friend bought me a sweater for my birthday. It's really cute for her but I think that it is SO HORRIFIC. How do I tell her that without hurting her feelings?
-I asked my mom if I could start wearing make-up to school because everyone else is. She got really mad at me and told me I don't need it, but I'm (insert age here) and I think I should!
-My teacher and I don't get along very well and she always makes bad comments about me. Even if I don't do anything wrong she'll yell at me or give me a bad grade. How do I tell her to stop without getting her even MORE mad at me?
-I bought a brand new pair of jeans last weekend but my best friend thinks that they make me look bad, I think that they look fine. Shuld I believe her, or myself?
hope that gave you some ideas.I have to make a teen magazine for a project. There is going to be an advice column but I need questions??????

Ive actually never had a girlfriend myself but i would like to ask her out... but i dont get the feeling she's into me at all... she teases that im too short and doesnt take me too seriously for some reason (Im 5'9 thats not that short is it? but shes 5'8) Anyway what should I do? Id appreciated honest, thoughtful adviceGirl advice for teen guy?
some girls make fun of the guys they like,
get close to her,
once your at that place then ask her out,
you can deal with parents once you date her.
Girl advice for teen guy?
omg thats so cute. im 17 to and havent really had a boyfriend either but i reackon you sholud just go for it. my parents are over protective. i dont know about her lying to her parents and all but if you actually talk to her about going out on a date and she says yes then i reckon you could try talking to her parents to reconsider.
5'9'; is a perfect height don't worry about that. Well I think that you should ask her out. Even if she does turn you down you will be ready for the next one. There are a million girls out there. She could also be making fun of you because she secretly likes you.
it sounds like you really like this girl. Talk to her about how you feel. Alone, dont ask/talk to her about it in front of her friends or your friends. And she probably makes fun of you because she likes you too. :)
she is teasing cuz she likes u, my girl would come in everyday and slap me on the back of the head, but now we r together and that was just flirting, go for it

If a TEEN were to ask LAOTZU of taoism for ADVICE what do U think HE WOULD ASK & what would LAOTZU say?
thanks, im taoist and i was jus wonderingIf a TEEN were to ask LAOTZU of taoism for ADVICE what do U think HE WOULD ASK %26amp; what would LAOTZU say?
Live each moment with attention, for you and the life you live are changing even as we speak.
You don't need my advice, for the Dao is within you and all around you.
You are a teenager but already have a dot of adulthood in you like a Ying/Yang figure has dots in each side.
Accept happiness and accept sorrow, for all is One.
(If you are a philosphical Daoist, read the Dao De Jing some more, but if you are a practicing, Chinese religious Daoist, then go to the temple and burn incense, watch your diet and do Qi Gong)
Please excuse my way of spelling ';Tao/Dao';If a TEEN were to ask LAOTZU of taoism for ADVICE what do U think HE WOULD ASK %26amp; what would LAOTZU say?
he would be screaming and hard to understand. It is real hot in hell.
';Go jack off';.

Sorry for the cliche teen question, but i need advice: He hasn't called or texted. Do I forget about him?
So he kissed me. And everything was fine, and I thought that for once something good was going to happen for me. I was right for a while. I really liked him, and (I assumed, so stupidly) he really liked me. We hung out every weekend and even studied together during the week. It was great. He was a football player, and I was just a normal nerd who ran track and got good grades, so it was a bit of a surprise when I found out that he liked me. But he did like me! We texted and talked. Then I went to the hospital to have an appendectomy. He knew, but now I am home and he hasnt texted or called or visited. At all! Not one text asking how I am. Now, we're not officially dating, but c'mon! What am I supposed to think? I still like him, even though that is a dick move ( how hard is it to text ';hey how are you feeling?';) Any thoughts? Do i forget him and move on? How do I go about forgetting him? This was the first time I really liked a guy and the first time I ever kissed one.Sorry for the cliche teen question, but i need advice: He hasn't called or texted. Do I forget about him?

maybe not guys are funny when it comes to sickness and hospitals, I would text him and say '; thank your for asking I am feeling much better that was so sweet'; see what happens\
Well am going through a smilliar situation where i like the guy and he like me and he would text me and if i text him he wouldnt responsed so my advise to you is to text him and see if he texts you back if he doesnt forget about him cause what i've learned about the situation that am in is that if he really liked me or in ur case you he would show you that he do and call or text to make sure your okay!!
boys really do get afraid of sickness and unfortunate things. a girl might say ';how hard is it to ask?'; but for a boy it may really be that hard. give him a day or two then text him and see how hes doing, then maybe hell ask how you are. dont give up right away
You know, it happens sometimes. Especially with guys our age. I really think before you make any big decisions, you should text him first. Maybe he just isn't sure if you are home yet, and is waiting until later to text you? I say you text him and say something small, like hey. Hopefully, he will ask about your surgery, but if not, and he asks what you are doing, or whastup, mention the surgery. HOPEFULLY at that point he will realize his mistake and ask you about it. After he does say something like this ';yeah i feel a bit better now, but i was hoping i would have woken up to a text from you :('; So that way he knows you are upset by it. You have every right to be, so don't be afraid to be honest with him.
Yeah, he's a teenage boy and most likely didn't know what to text you, although that's no excuse, he could have asked his parents, or even YAs, for some guidance.
So just let it be, and you can text him, that you just wanted him to know, that you are doing well now, and hope is too.
See where that goes, if you get no response then all you can do, is move on, and take this first time, as a learning experience.
By the way, I'm happy that you are better too.

easy... stay away from junk food. keep a active life style.Advice and tips on how to lose weight for a teen no pills!?
That's simple. Eat healthier food, lay off the junk and exercise more. Go for walks and use your trampoline. You can try running but if you're not in great shape yet you could end up with shin splints and the like, so just start with walking.
Get a pet dog [i suggest a medium size]
They are a companion and keep you happy and fit.
They need to be taken for walks so you will get pleanty of exercise.
Also, eat the right foods.
just have a couple veges with your dinner.
i'm in australia so i'm not sure about the UK, but over here i get frozen veges that you microwave and they're actually really yum for veges.
plums and apples are good fruits to snack on.
[to stop cut apples from turning brown, put them in either lemon or water - it works]
I hope i have helped,
good luck,
x

I hope i have helped,
good luck,
x

I need an Adult or Parent's advice. OR teen's who had to fight for their car.?
Alright so I'm a teenager about to get his license soon. I have an average 3.67 GPA. I am really responisble since i grew up with Asian parents. Well i will be playing varsity baseball next year, and my coach DEMANDS you go to morning weight room which is a 6 A.M. I have practice till 6 P.M. I also have two younger brothers. Well I also play guitar for Church and i am a praise leader. I am extremely religious and want to bring my friends over to church. Maybe my parents don't trust me with my freedom because they're scared that i might be going out too much and make my grades drop.
To be truthful, i only want a car to bring my frriends to church. But i think my parents find that as an excuse to get a car. But i really feel like I need a car so that my parents wouldn't stress over things. My mom recently said she gets stressed because she never has time to allow my sibligns to go places, but i feel like i can drive my siblings around so that my parents don't get stressed.
I told my mom my reasons why i should get a car, she agrees with me. But it will be extremely difficult to persuade my dad because i KNOW he'll think i'm a joke. but i'm dead serious about bringing my freidsn to church, morning baseball practice, and after practice. Maybe i will go out once a week like on Saturday, but most likely not because our baseball program is 24.7. How can i persuade my dad to believe me. I'm 100% serious about this. I'm even willing to buy a 1986 corolla or something. I'm asking them to buy a 1994 integra used. I don't need something fancy. I just need a car for transport for my friedns to church. HOW CAN I PERSUADE MY DAD ? T_TI need an Adult or Parent's advice. OR teen's who had to fight for their car.?
Adult here and parent.
You seem like a great kid and remind your parents of that. Explain that they have no reason to not trust you. You can help run errands and take the siblings some place when your parents need rest alone. See if they can buy a cell phone to check up on you. Take them out for a ride to show that your are an responsible driver. Because car insurance for teenage boys can be very expensive. If your grades fail or you goof off tell them that they can just take the car keys%26lt;===they would like to hear that. It will give them more control over the car deal. Make sure you only get a cash car and that it's inspected before you pay for it. You don't want a rip off! Good luckI need an Adult or Parent's advice. OR teen's who had to fight for their car.?
you talk with him. have your mom talk to him. maybe a few of your friends too?
Hey Han,
I answered this one before. Is this a duplicate question?

Does anyone know really how to lose weight for a teen, like 20 pounds in a month, tips, advice, please help.?
Hi...I'm a personal trainer, here's my advice....exercise...cardio is the best for burning calories, take a jog around your block a few times, do this at least 3 times a day, do you have a big appetite? if so instead of eating big portions cut your portions in half... when your feeling hungry have a piece of fruit...no junk food...I suggest keeping a diet journal...record your exercise and food intake and remember when exercising keep yourself hydrated...hope this helps.Does anyone know really how to lose weight for a teen, like 20 pounds in a month, tips, advice, please help.?
- Well first of all becareful of what u eat. Drop carbohydrates. More vegs and protein.
- Jogging helps but try swimming. Cause it takes more energy to its more demanding. aFter swimming try to overcome the burning hunger.
- Take up sports. Like tae kwon do lessons.
- DON'T STARVE YR SELF!!
- Also when u're on a diet there's a chance u might consume more than u normally do after the dieting session. Takes a lot of self control.Does anyone know really how to lose weight for a teen, like 20 pounds in a month, tips, advice, please help.?
Don't try and lose twenty pounds in a month. It's unsafe. Stop eating sugars, butters, oils and salts. Drink alot of water and exercise as much as you can. Move it to Lose it!! Most important - Eat a balanced diet (plenty of diets on the internet) You must eat to lose weight. You have to eat at least three meals a day, preferably 4 smaller meals a day. Eat oatmeal (plain) every morning and lots of fruit and vegetables (they should be 75% of your daily food intake. Don't smoke and get your cardio at least four times a week. Have faith in yourself and be positive. Good Luck!!!
im trying to do the same thing. i started this week by walking for an hour and doing some light weights to get triceps! definitely cut out sodas and junk food snacks.
exercise vigorously
South Beach Diet books!!!Then exercise once in a while!Believe me you will be thank full!Just remember to read that book front the back!
Go to the Internet and get the paperback book ';The Complete Scarsdale Medical Diet'; by Herman Tarnower, MD and it will only take about 20 days to lose your 20 pounds. The book also tells you how to easily keep the weight off. Then it will be time to break out the miniskirts.
Weight Watchers is the easiest. Just count the points. Also eat every 3 hours, which is a natural way to supress appitite and keep your metabolism up.
ok...stop all soda and chips. that would after a month make u lose like 5 to 10 pounds cos basically u are taking in empty calories. minimize chocolate, and try to eat only dark chocolate. pretty much eat small portions. you no u are done eating when u reach the point that you could eat more, but u are not hungry. this helps because it is scientifically proven that the brain realizes u are full after 20 minutes that ur stomach is full. basically the message is sent slowly.
Running! Everyone underestimates the power of running.
Avoid fatty %26amp; oily foods at all costs. Also avoid flour. Jogging heps a lot.
(Not walking but jogging).

Guys only... i need your advice...about what teen boys are looking for.?
When a couple of teens like eachother, and even before the first date happens and the boy suggest';lets be alone so we can make out :D'; is this boy looking for action or making a joke? in my opinon he is looking for action. And i just want to be careful, and right now im thinking i probably shouldnt go out with a guy just yet, im thinking i should wait till i graduate 8th grade and move on to high school. im just thinking teen boys in middle school are just interested in action. or most boys in high school and middle school. im thinking waht if the boy isnt interested in who she is, her thoughts, her outlook on the world and what if all he cares about is ';smoochy smoochy';Guys only... i need your advice...about what teen boys are looking for.?
Yes, he was probably serious about wanting to make out with you, he just phrased it in a joking manner as so it would seem less awkward.
Males reach the peak of their sexuality at about the age of 18, and tend to do more thinking with their genitals than with their mind. He might be into what your emotions and such, but all guys also want the physical aspect of a relationship.
Best would be to just mature some, and let those around you mature some before you start looking for a serious relationship.Guys only... i need your advice...about what teen boys are looking for.?
well i have been boy before hehehe and i can tell you this and this might ruin other boys chanse to score hehe
honestly, you should wait it until you are in the uni coz when the guys find you still a virgin at that time, there 80% prob that he will stay with you until you guys get married or atleast by that time you really have a good idea what you want to do with your life.
why? because at this time, guys start to think not only about sex and fun but about the future and when he find it that you are still a virgin by that time, he knows that he is very special to you and by that time it is not about making score anymore for guys.
but if you want to have fun, then high school guy is the best but then you are just the same as any other girls who had sex in their high school. but 8th grade , com on are you serious?? he cannot even pay for his tuition at that age, what happened if you get knock up?? he cannot even support you, he even had a hard time applying at Mcdonald coz he is too young.
all of this doesnt matters if you guy didnt plan to have any future at all..think about it, before you do it coz it is you life that your playing with.
your teens time only happend once and then you will grown up to be an adult anyway, so why rushing??
oh wow this is my subject of expertese lmao alot of boys are like that in my school they use girls and just want action ussally if they want to makeout b4 the first date you should probley leave him cuz he might want to get farther with you so stop it while it starts

Do you have any advice for someone who has issues when dining out... even thought i am a teen?
My name is daniella
and whenever i go out to eat people look at me funny. My parents have never said anything about it, but im not allowed to eat lunch at school or eat at a friends house. This is how i normally eat at a resturant. when we get the drinks i slurp it down as fast as i can and ask for more. then when the bread comes i eat as much as i can so im not hungry any more. THen if theres left over butter i eat it out of the little tub things. When the food comes i am normally not too hungry so i just dig in and stuff as much in at a time as i can. I do have to wash my hands off on my pants if they get too dirty. though, like when im eating pasta with sauce. I mean sometimes i think i should eat with a fork and stuff, but they just slow you down and im all about the fast. So as soon as im done i try as hard as i can to burp really loud. Then i go and wait in the car until the rest of my family is done. I know that no one else eats like me but my mom says everyone is unique and i truly belive that but i think that to get a boyfriend my manners need to be better so please help!!!!!!!!!
i need it

take all the things your about to eat and instead of putting it in your mouth, put up your butt until you realize how normal people eat.Do you have any advice for someone who has issues when dining out... even thought i am a teen?
I would hate to sit next to you at a meal, your parents should have taught you basic table manners,
Go to a library and get a book on etiquette then do some practising
Daniella, Every time i think of u eating i throw up in my mouth. Please dont even bother trying because i think u are too far gone. ive seen u eat u pig
take a class on etiquette....
thats my advice
You wipe your hands on your pants and you actually try to burp really loudly - and that is beside the Simpsons-like style of eating. To be honest, your conduct would make most people in your presence feel ill, and any boyfrfiend would surely run out of the door before the end of the meal. If your description of your conduct is accurate, here in London you would probably be asked by the manager to leave.
You sound like you're being a slob on purpose.
Unfold the napkin and put it in your lap.
Hold the knife and fork like pencils, not shovels.
Don't touch the food with your fingers.
Don't burp at the end.
Chew and swallow one bite at a time.
P.S. You're dumb.
Daniella,
Gosh! I do not wish to be mean but why have your parents not taught you good table manners? The way you ';normally eat at a restaurant'; is embarrassing. You should be embarrassed as should your parents. That's why people look at you and, believe me, they are looking at your parents, too!
I checked out the site www.gourmet-food-revolution.com and it should start answering your questions. This gives you an idea of what to expect:
Dinner Table Etiquette - the 10 Do's!
';Once seated, unfold your napkin and use it for occasionally wiping your lips or fingers. At the end of dinner, leave the napkin tidily on the place setting.
It is good dinner table etiquette to serve the lady sitting to the right of the host first, then the other ladies in a clockwise direction, and lastly the gentlemen.
Hold the knife and fork with the handles in the palm of the hand, forefinger on top, and thumb underneath.
Whilst eating, you may if you wish rest the knife and fork on either side of the plate between mouthfuls. When you have finished eating, place them side by side in the center of the plate.
If the food presented to you is not to your liking, it is polite to at least make some attempt to eat a small amount of it. Or at the very least, cut it up a little, and move it around the plate!
It is quite acceptable to leave some food to one side of your plate if you feel as though you have eaten enough. On the other hand, don't attempt to leave your plate so clean that it looks as though you haven't eaten in days!
Desserts may be eaten with both a spoon and fork, or alternatively a fork alone if it is a cake or pastry style sweet.
Should a lady wish to be excused for the bathroom, it is polite for the gentlemen to stand up as she leaves the table, sit down again, and then stand once more when she returns.
Always make a point of thanking the host and hostess for their hospitality before leaving.
It is good dinner table etiquette to send a personal thank you note to the host and hostess shortly afterwards.';
After you have read through the website, get some books at the library and read, read, read then practice what you have learned.
You should take an ettiquette course as well.
You don't eat butter out of the tubs. You don't eat everything in sight. You don't burp. You don't wipe your dirty hands on your clothes! You do eat with a knife and fork! You don't race to the car when you are finished (this is considered to be rude)!
I would hope you are serious in improving yourself because if you are not, high school and college and your first job are going to be very difficult.
One more thing: Everybody is unique. And ';everybody'; is taught good table manners. Shame on your parents! Gosh!

aeropostale and pacsun has good accessories and clothes it has color, price, quality. for coolness you could try abercrombie/ hollister but their clothes are expensive and dark.
Abercrombie %26amp; Fitch , Hollister.

really. no offense this is disappointing. each person has there own ';in'; and ';cool'; i mean you have an opinion, you know what you like and don't like, don't dress cause other people think it's cool dress cause you think it's cool and it's you
aeropostale and pacsun has good accessories and clothes it has color, price, quality. for coolness you could try abercrombie/ hollister but their clothes are expensive and dark.
Abercrombie %26amp; Fitch , Hollister.
There are various styles out there you know... Indie, Prep, Jock, etc. You have to be specific sir, if you want advice
bois at my school hwere abercrombie and hollister... there becoming jus lik the girls :(
well, tHIS is a GAY QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The teen would ask ';Uh, hey, like, howzit';
LaoTsu would say 'The blossom of the cherry flutters on its descent'If a TEEN were to ask LAOTZU of taoism for ADVICE what do U think HE WOULD ASK %26amp; what would LAOTZU say?
I don't know, as I'm not Lao Tsu ..... but I can tell you that something in the Tao Te Ching probably corresponds to whatever he would be asking.... since it is basically just a record of all the advice Lao Tsu gave a guard as he left china... so it is said.
You certainly wouldn't get a better answer from anyone here. None of them are Lao Tsu either... ^.^
There are 81 Chapters in the Dao De Jing. It is clear what Lao Tzu said.
I personally gave my children Tao Cards as well as the book. It is up to them to read it.
I'm not sure what the TEEN would ASK, but I know LAOUTZU would be CURIOUS why the TEEN types some WORDS in all capital letters and other WORDS in all small LETTERS instead of just WRITING like a NORMAL HUMAN BEING.
The teen would ask him for advice on acne cream. Lao Tsu would suggest the teen contemplate the spaces between the pimples.the bees

I am 18 and the results I got from going to the gym everyday never compared to the amount of fat I am loosing and muscle I am putting on now. It was interval training that really shed the weight off and I saw a difference in 2 days. I do 30 minutes on the treadmill and 15 of those minutes are running at 5km/h and I would increase the incline to a really high incline at 1 minute intervals. So I would keep running at 5km/h but when I minute went by a jacked up the incline and after a minute past by then I would bring it all the way down again. After 15 minutes of that I did speed interval training and I think this is really effective, I would run at 5km/h.....1 minute passes.....then up to 7km/h then 1 minute passes back down to 5km/h then another minute pasess push it up to 8-9km/h. This type of excersie is the best because it keeps your heart rate up and your body is never relaxed. What I used to do was jump on the treadmill and run for 30 minutes at 7km/h that was good but my body just got used to it and then it stopped having an impact. Give interval training a try but most of all you really gotta cut down your food consumption thats is you are eating a lot or just eat good quality food usually home made meals are the best and just always think before you eat lol. I absolutely LOVEEEEEE food lol and with interval training and absolutely killing myself without pounds and pounds of food I am pretty fit. Good luck and remember excersise just to feel good not just to loose weight make it fun so you look forward to working out and change it up every so often.
Cheers,

Looking for teen girls' opinions--can you give me some advice on this, please??
K, so I'm kinda a ';playerette';, and I used to flirt a lot w/this one guy, but I don't like him anymore b/c he's getting annoying. So it figures that i see him around school a lot ;) and it's awkward! a lot of times he looks at me in a class we're in 2gether, and once, we passed each other in the hall, and I kinda looked back and so did he...and it happened again except we take turns looking back
my question to you all is are you a playerette like me? do you flirt w/multiple guys and then be like, i'm done with him, next? and also, should girls look back when passing by guys? or should we never look back? i don't like looking back, literally or metaphorically, but things happen lol
any thoughts are welcome thanx!Looking for teen girls' opinions--can you give me some advice on this, please??
You're in for a life of sadness and disappointment.

I'm a teen looking for a little advice on life. Where should I go for help?
I am a senior in high school, and this is my story.
I'd say i had a fairly good childhood. It was a little rough for a bit when my parents split up, but i learned to live with it and haven't felt like its to blame for the way I am now. Although, my dad is an alcoholic and pot head. I believe I am going to end up like him, possibly a little better but definitely not where I'd like to be years from now. Now is when I need to focus, and get my act together. Learn from the mistakes I've made recently.
Over the summer I lost my license and earned myself a grand total of 75 hrs of community service to work off for an underage alcohol possession charge. Its been a rough month trying to deal with no car and spending time doing community service after school with the janitors. It's really hurting the schedule I already have trouble balancing. Right now I am also working at a restaurant, trying to focus on school, figure what in the world im going to do with my life next year, and all of the regular stress that comes from being in high school.
It's finally come to me that it is time to change a few things in my life, the biggest being the partying (which has been smoking and drinking anytime possible). I'm not sure if everyone else feels this in life or if I should really been paranoid. Maybe I should be scared of turning out like the people I work with. I'm a host a restaurant, and I'm the youngest person working there. Over the past few weeks I've started to feel like I'm on their same path, and the little common sense i happen to possess (lol) tells me I don't want to be like them when I'm there age. I want to be the cool college bros that come in to grab a beer and a burger, or the hot couple out for a fun night. Not that lame dude stuck behind that counter ever Saturday night.
Im just not sure if i can do this alone. Should I get help? Confess to my parents, see a counselor, turn to my friends for help? or are my friends just dragging me deeper? i don't know which ones i would turn to...maybe online to an old but no longer close friend? Or am I just over reacting? Figure I'll get an anonymous voice first?I'm a teen looking for a little advice on life. Where should I go for help?

try going to a psychiatrist or a counselor
keep partying only quitters quit
I've gone through a little more than you have, and was in a similar predicament recently. Yet it has changed around quite a bit since I graduated from high school. The truth is you just have to start caring what the consequences are when you do something stupid, and also more importantly understand the concept of MODERATION! You can still have fun with your friends, still go out and smoke a little, but don't ever let it control your life. When you do use an illegal substance get a nice buzz, don't get slammed or blazed out of your mind; then let it calm down and then do it again. Don't go overboard, plus you notice some extra benefits if you do use moderation, chief among them being it is a lot cheaper.
Good luck man and never let anything drag you down, there is always another way to go
My advice would be to not try to give up your parties and fun altogether, but to slow down enough to try to get focused with where you want to be going with your life. If you don't want to grow up that way, go to a college and do something you enjoy(with some fun in between). If you are still unhappy unless you are high, drunk or drigh(a combination of the two) all of the time you may start to feel empty without it. You need a balance
If you feel like you have a problem with substances, then by all means get help. Also, check into getting student loans for college. You don't want to pick a major yet, just figure out which college you're going to start your general ed at. You probably would do well to fill up some of your party time with other stuff. ';Sober fun'; is what it's called. Good for you for hearing your wake up call.
well, from my experience if you see a counselor, usually you'll get even more pissed off and do worse things.....but friends are a good place to turn as long as you have reliable and good friends. But really it's up to you to take charge, set a goal to where you want to be x number of years from now and work towards it no matter what it takes even if that means being stuck behind the counter every saturday night.
Hey fella, grow up will ya. Smoking weed and drinking at your age or any age is stupid stupid stupid. Your lucky you were nailed for possession and not DUI or DWI, if you get that on your license it never goes away. It follows you just like your school record follows you through out your life. When applying for a job, or to a college, or going into civil service or the military. Forget about your friends, peer pressure got you where you are now. If they were real friends they wouldn't have allowed you to do things wrong. However, since they were doing them, misery loves company, so they urged you to go along with their stupidity and you did. If you don't have the will power within you do to the right thing, then yes I would get help. Go to your priest, doctor, guidance counselor, anyone that will listen and show you a way out. Your a bit old to just be learning right from wrong, but it's never to late to realize the error of your ways and change them to a more positive and productive endeavor. Life is what you make it, it has all to do with the choices we make and the sacrifices we are willing to endure to achieve our goals. Friends, well true friends that have high ideals and career goals and are planning a future for themselves yeah. Friends that want to drink and smoke weed and party hearty, aren't real good role models, unless your goal is to be a shiftless, lazy drunken bum, pot head and ruin some woman's life like your father did. You are the only one that can control you. The choices you make determine your future, make the right choices and reap the rewards, make the wrong choices and suffer the consequences. Don't only learn from your mistakes, but from the mistakes of adults around you like your father and your deadbeat co-workers that don't have lives they have menial jobs and a place to sack out. They made the wrong choices and didn't want to really work hard and plan their future. No one plans to fail they just fail to plan. You can't erect a building without a blueprint and you can build a future without a plan. You don't have to follow in your fathers footsteps if you really don't want to. Pray a lot. Stay close to the Lord. Ask him for strength and guidance. If you want to make something of your life and need a role model, he is the one you should seek out and follow. The Lord is my shepard, ask and he will be yours too.
i personally think that right now you need to buckle down, stop partying %26amp; finish your community service. As for the car, find someone who lives by you, that is reliable %26amp; that you could get along with enough for a ride to school %26amp; back. If there are other places you need to go, see if you can get a friend to give you a ride. Maybe work out some deals with your parents or close neighbors to borrow their car.
you should get help from both a school counselor %26amp; a regular counselor. school counselors can help you figure out what you want to do with your life %26amp; what you need to do to get there. A regular counselor can help you sort out the rest of your life, both personal %26amp; school, work related.
you are not over reacting at all.
(: i hope everything works out!

What advice can you give for a teen who is inexperinced in acting but wants to pursue acting as a career?
Well I'm almost 13 and I really want to become an actress. I study programmes and film, I watch actors in alot of things and pay alot of attention to camera angles etc. However I looove drama but at school my potential isn't really shown as I don't like my drama teacher, and being in year 7 going into 8, in school plays I just don't get picked for big roles. There are a few drama clubs near by but they aren't very good. What do you suggest? What advice can you give for a teen who is inexperinced in acting but wants to pursue acting as a career?
鈥?Maybe I can help?
鈥?Becoming an actor takes more than just talent. It takes stamina, discipline, and self-esteem. First-stamina, you will have to work very hard. Discipline- you'll have to work hard even if you wanna just go to sleep and forget about your dream. And self esteem- you wont get at it your first time. Here are some types that you need. An easy 1-2-3.
______________________________________鈥?br>
1.) You've heard this a thousand times, I bet. The first thing you need to do is get active.. Go to a summer camp or take lessons with a less-expensive acting coach. They may be you're teacher at school who's giving you private lessons, which is a good thing for you to think about! Acting agencies won't just like you for your talent, they want experience, they want to say, ';This kid went to acting camp, took lessons, and was a lead role in school plays.'; Also, it has nothing to do with ACTING, but getting active in clubs, sports, and musical instruments is very helpful too. On resumes, you want to write about your talents. Next step isn't as easy as this though!
______________________________________鈥?br>
2.) This step takes a little more research. You need to get an agent. Agents will help you go into less-stressful, private auditions. If you don't have an agent, you can wait in lines with 10,000 other girls with the same dream. So I'm sure you'd prefer an agent, right? Go onto Google, anything, and look for agents in your area. If you're not sure if they're legit, ask someone who has experience on the subject, or do the following: Do you have a favorite celebrity? Many celebrities have agents. Look up who their agents are, find at least 2, and look up contact information. You need a pamphlet with a cover letter, headshot, and a resume. When putting together a resume, bear in mind that it is most likely that the person reviewing it will be looking at many other resumes at the same time. The resume should be laid out in a simple, easy-to-read format and be limited to one page. Unlike most business resumes, acting credits should be listed according to significance, not date. It is not necessary to include descriptions of projects or characters or dates of performances. For security reasons, do NOT include a social security number. If they like you, they will set up a meeting with you. If they still like you, and they ask for money up front, YOU DONT LIKE THEM. They are not a real agency. Agencies with experience will only make you pay them once you have jobs, and only 25% of the profit you make from the job.
______________________________________鈥?br>
3.) Getting acts. Easy now! You're agent knows your strengths and weaknesses. Don't forget you've gotten this far! Good luck!

Good luck! What advice can you give for a teen who is inexperinced in acting but wants to pursue acting as a career?
Oh my god! I feel the same way! Do you any community theatre in your area? CYT? (Hey better than nothing!) What about an acting class in your park district? Hope I helped!
Start writing you own scripts and make your own videos or films ask your parents who may have a camera to help you get started. They can dub as your Director and Producer and of course you do the same. When you make your own movie. You become in charge. Not waiting on others. See if you can get a book called ';Girl Director'; by Andrea Richards. It's an awesome book that even I learned from it. You have to make your own opportunities. I learned that being a Hollywood extra years ago. See you in the movies.
Join the drama clubs! Or wait until one of those advertisements where they call people in for casting roles on Hannah Montana and other shows like that. Try searching for things on the internet, but start small, and eventually it will become big!
If your school drama dept. is failing you try looking at community theaters and playhouses near you instead, that's more rewarding but high school is always a good theatrical foundation!
Join the drama classes and ya school play .. :] Like honestly you cant start off biq; you have to go from small minor roles to getting bigger and better roles; it all takes practice and experience.
Good luck!

What is a very good website for teen girls where they can chat with each other ask advice ect.??please help?
There are so many bizarre websites out there that I'm afraid to recommend any one of them.
Would getting together with a group of girls to share ideas no longer in?
If you prefer anonymity, perhaps you could ask your counselor or guidance. What is a very good website for teen girls where they can chat with each other ask advice ect.??please help?
I don't know of any off hand. The thing is that a lot of those places are being patrolled by perves. If you do go into chatrooms, be very careful. Never give out personal information. Not even which state you come from. Do not send pictures either to anyone. The predators on the net (as you likely know) lie all the time. They know how to sound like another teen.
If your smart about it, chatrooms can be very harmless.

A Teen Contemplating Vegetarianism Asks For Advice?
Hello Friends, seeing as many here are advantaged in the experience of vegetarianism, and its beneifits and pitfalls, i would ask upon your behalf some advice for myself who is contemplating becoming a strict vegetarian.
I wish to follow a strict vegetarian diet, devoid of all animal products, for the sake that it greatly benefits the practice of Chastity. From my experiences, Chastity is difficult indeed, not by lack of self control, but by impurity of the digestion and body, thus making Chastity negated due to involuntary emissions, caused by animal foods purportedly.
The staples of my diet would be: Dense grains, oats, wheat, perhaps rice, then legumes, and then nuts and seeds, and then fruits and vegetables, followed and finished by fats, as oils, avocados and the like.
I have long studied nutrition, what the body needs, the macro nutrients and micro nutrients, in the right amounts and proportions, so I am acceptably educated on the subject of nutrition. Yet, no amount of education can replace advice from experienced individuals, as yourselves. If you would kindly give all the advice you would on a teenager, sixteen years of age, becoming a vegetarian, preferably strict, then do post please.
The best to you all, Your Friend.A Teen Contemplating Vegetarianism Asks For Advice?
Well, since you know a lot already, I guess I don't need to tell you much. I'll just give you a few warnings. I'm a fifteen year old vegetarian, and I've been one for nine months now.
It's not a problem to get the vitamins and minerals that you need on a veg*n diet, you just have to be sure you're paying close attention to it. Don't focus on only some and neglect others. I did that. I paid more attention to protein and now I'm lacking in iron.
So, just be sure to pay attention to your diet. Exercise and stay active. Try to get your blood tested every now and then to be sure that you're okay. And trust me, people will be annoying and ignorant about your choices, but it's best to just ignore them and avoid conflict.
Have fun :]A Teen Contemplating Vegetarianism Asks For Advice?
Pay strict attention on the foods that make up a complete protein. Your body needs protein and to provide this you need to combine these in the proper ratios. You can do serious damage to youself if you do not properly educate yourself on what foods combined make up a complete protein and the ratio needed to do this.
those staples should be fine. If you play sports or are very active, I would experiment a bit and take it slow. I play sports and when I went vegan, my performance dropped like a rock. I craved meat all the time because that was my main source of protein.. eventually, my body realized I wasn't going to give it meat and got used to all the beans and grains. Your body does need to adjust, especially if you're active.
If you are changing over from a meat diet and junk food, be warned that you will experience quite a bit of gas at first, this will pass after your system builds up the proper enzymes needed to break down the veggies and grains.
this will be one of the best things you ever did for yourself, besides maybe building a relationship with the Christ.
The best thing I can tell you is to eat a varied diet. Don't eat the same things day after day. As far as combining foods to create complete protein that has pretty much been debunked as long as you eat the complementing protein within a few days you will be fine. Another grain you may want to check out is quinoa it is a complete protein and very nice.
I had a good laugh at your question. Diet has absolutely nothing to do with sex drive either eating meat or no meat makes zero difference to a teenagers sex drive. Its all to do with hormones!
Enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrots and you'll be fine. Carrots are a vegetarian staple and they will cure most ailments.
Eat lots of dark vege's and spinach to keep you're iron levels up.

There is no way you can stop your makeup from basically melting off your face when you sweat... The best thing you can do, is always have the basics with you.... (Liquid foundation, pressed powder, and eyeliner) Of course you can always carry extras like, mascara, and eyeshadow and lipstick... etc... But these are the staples... Just simply rinse your face after you're done with P.E. and gently pat it dry... you can choose to wash it with a cleanser, but if you're cleaning regularly already, the stress of cleaning it during school might cause your skin to become too dry... Reapply your makeup as needed...Teen girl advice :D mainly for pe%26amp;%26amp; make-up for pe. any help??lol?
Bring your make up in a make up bag and apply before and after your PE lesson.
Buy waterproof mascara and eyeliner definitley.
Try and get the same you usually get, but waterproof.
Is your PE teacher strict about make up? If so put it on a bit more lightly - this may also help...
x
Um...yeah. Get the makeup you wear normally, put it in a makeup bag and, after P.E., wash your face (get some cleansing wipes or something), and reapply your makeup. There's nothing you can do to keep it on while you sweat.

For a closeted teen trying to meet guys online what advice would you give?
Here is the thing I am currently closeted (I have my reasons) and I trying using Myspace and Facebook to meet cute guys online the only problems is that once i get a promising nice guy I loose my nerve and either block them or refuse to answer their emails. It like I know I should get with someone once before college (because being single is driving me crazy... and because I need some self confidence in this department) but every time someone makes me an offer (even at school) I become too skittish and cant go through with it (which is unusual for me cause I am a very outgoing person... when it doesn't come to my sexuality). I just do not know what to-do, even when the opportunity opens for me to get with someone I scurry away. It is as if the guy has to be like right down the street from me and approach me. So my question is what do I do when I am presented with an opportunity and I scurry away, how do I convince myself (cause what I am trying isn't working)? PLEASE HELPFor a closeted teen trying to meet guys online what advice would you give?
As far as meeting someone online...you have no idea who you're actually communicating with. It could even be more than one person...like a gang. My recommendation would be...DON'T meet anyone from online. You would be much better off meeting with someone you already know...and, know that they're interested in what you are interested. Your hesitancy suggests to me that you're not ready...or else you wouldn't be scurrying away. If you're not careful you will become a 'tease'...and once you get labeled with that, you won't know who really is interested. They will guess that you're going to stand them up...so they stand you up instead. At this point I would suggest you wait till you're away at college, where you will have your own room and freedom to do as you like. For a closeted teen trying to meet guys online what advice would you give?
i don't think online is the answer hun, especially given your 'skittish' ways its way too easy to bottle out (its way to easy to be fed a line too) build on your self esteem and try at school or other social places you go.
The nerves will leave you eventually. I would suggest joining an LGB group at college and do not set time scales for yourself to have done certain things. You will find it easier to meet people at a group in a different context as opposed to going on a date where you may have a particular expectation that something will or will not happen. It will happen for you in due course.
The internet is not an option to meeting a nice guy.
You don't know who you'r ACTUALLY talking to. Always remember that. I have to remind myself sometimes.
I think you need to go out and about with friends in school and maybe you'll see someone - what about the guy who appraoched you in 'school' - I mean he must like you. Perhaps just start chatting with him .... go on a few 'dates' ... maybe you'll get to like him.
But I completely understand your position - you can sometimes be a bit lonely.
Anyway...best regards
You will no when the time is right,,,its no bad thing being cautious,,,Good Luck,,,,
I'd recommend meeting others for friendship first, so that you're not pressuring yourself too much. It could also work out that other people, ie. new friends, will know others that they could introduce you to. This would relieve you from potential Internet site dating threats, where no-one would know who you were meeting up with, as you're not out to anyone. Dating can sometimes be something to cause anxiety, so you're not alone.
I don't know how old you are, so also pay attention to legal issues for yourself and others.
Just be cautious - which I think is what you've revealed you're being. And don't feel the need to rush into anything sexual. It's probably going to be good for you to have gay/bi friends, as well as just a partner, so you could work on friendships, until you're nearer 100% ccommitted to meeting for dating. And have safer sex, whenever you do choose the right person.
There are interest groups, for gay and bi people, where you could participate in sports, outdoors pursuits etc, where the emphasis is safer, as you're not isolated. These typically are social groups, and there's less pressure: as you're a generally self-confident person, you'll probably be great company and will enjoy a social environment. Let me know if you'd like any ideas on these.
Good luck! Rob
Be careful, thats my advice.
I wouldn't go for meeting guys online, it's very difficult to really get to know someone online, you can never know when they are lying or not. However you say that you're getting offers from school to so why do you have to meet people online. Ofcourse if you don't know many gay people then the net could be the way for you to go at the moment.
I think the reason you don't have much confidence is because you're insecure about your sexuality and what people will think of you. Or it could just be you don't actual like the boys that are into you, maybe you want someone better.
Wait till college. Online is not a good way to go, especially at your young age.
A little caution is not a bad thing. You can't always be sure of the truth online. At school where you know the person and can see that they are real might be a better choice than connecting online.
You'll want to take it slow.
Sounds like you want to date before college - that's fine but you can be clear from the start (in your own mind and with the other person) that you want to take it slow. Online dating can be scary.
be very very careful
It sounds like to me you just need to chill out a bit...
Find someone nice first and then see where it goes.. if they try and have sex just tell them you want to know them better ect.
You will meet some many nice guys at college and life will seem MUCH better, you will no doubt find a nice lover as well...
Just be careful about meeting guys online, make sure you meet them first somewhere public with lots of people around and if you can tell a mate where your going and who your meeting. (I know your not out but you might have told a close mate)
You should look to Christ for strength before you damn your soul to hell. Being a homosexual is not a sin, lying with another man is. Before you take the devastating step of being with another man, seek the Lord for the strength to overcome your sinful desires.

What am i supposed to do? stupid teen depression for no apparent reason please help. any advice?
please take the time to read it....
i'm a female whose still in high school. im on winter break as are most kids. i have friends and i'm involved in clubs and sports at my school. i get good grades and have a typical homelife. sure, my life isnt perfect but there isn't any reason why i should be depressed. i just feel so empty and i cant find any meaning in life. i dont want to kill myself but i dont feel like i have the will to live. i just feel like i'm running in circles. i dont know where i'm going or who i want to be. it sounds so cliche but i feel like i live the same day over and over again. i feel like somethings gotta give. i dont want anything to go wrong obviously but it would add something to my life. i'm constantly afraid of screwing up things for myself or hurting others so ive never had a boyfriend but its not because guys dont like me i just dont like getting too emotionally involved for fear of getting hurt. these are supposed to be the best years of my life but i feel like im just trying to get by. i dont want to have any regrets and i want to look back on these years and just be like wow, it couldnt have been any better. i just feel like the world is a bad place and i feel so helpless like theres nothing i can do that will change it. my life isnt bad but i just see so much hurt and suffering in the world and nothing i do, no matter how hard i try i'm still nothing. theres people who love me but i feel like if i died it wouldnt matter. its not that i expect the world to stop but i have nothing to show for my life. i know i'm young but i feel so helpless and that i have nothing to offer the world. i'm kinda shy but i'm not ';emo'; or anything. im just so frustrated, lonely, and empty. i should be happy and excited for christmas but i just look outside at the snow and even the weather makes me depressed. i just sleep all day and avoid hanging out with people that invite me to do things for really no reason at all. im simply never satisfied especially with my looks. i know it just sounds like teen angst. i'm really not looking for sympathy and i feel stupid asking over the internet but its truely my last resort. what now? how do i move forward with my life? i dont really have a religon but i kinda want to believe in god but idk... any advice would be appreciated, i'm desperate ):
thanksWhat am i supposed to do? stupid teen depression for no apparent reason please help. any advice?
Your question isn't different from most teens who have a great life and have good grades but are still depressed. I'm 22 so I went through this phase as well when I was in highschool. Everything you said is just a result of being mentally depressed and feeling like there is nothing in the world that could make you laugh or snap out of this neverending nightmare of worry, depression and helplessness. What I did was go to the doctor and tell them what you just told me. She gave me Zoloft and the first time I took it, it felt like every thought in my head that spelled worry stopped and I felt like me again. All you need is some extra love from your parents and some good heart to heart chat with your friends. It seems like a far cry for help right now but it isn't. If you feel that going to the doctor is a little terrifying, ask your mom to go with you. Antidepressants do not cost very much at all(some don't, others such as Effexor are about 10 bucks a pill unless you have insurance). Seriously try to get in contact with people close to you and go out after you get your meds. Go see a funny movie, splurge on some cake, go play with a dog. Do something that you normally wouldn't do and I gaurantee you'll see through all this pain. I've been there before. It really will pass.
Best wishes

I feel like I have just read a page out of my journal (if i actually kept one)..seriously tho, I completely understand how you feel. When it comes to religion idk what to believe. I choose to be agnostic for now, believe in some higher power, not knowing exactly what it is. I think the best hope for us is knowing that this will pass soon, eventually I plan on having a career and helping people and not living some generic suburbian lifestyle that makes me feel so boring. Thats what keeps my sane at least..and as for using yahoo..i know its rediculous and I still do it because idk where else to turn..but if you want to email me you can..

Your not that different from a lot of other teenagers out there, so don't feel like the outcast. During your teenage years, so many hormones are raging and they can cause so much confusion in your life. I've been there, as well as many others who may answer this question. Get out with your friends more often and maybe start writing in a journal. I'm an adult now, but I still use a journal. I make it a rule to write one good thing that is happening/or happened in my life that day. It could be as small as:';Today while I was walking back to my car, I spotted a bird that was making a beautiful sound and just stood there and looked at it.';- I would than go on to describe my feelings at that time. Just one good thought a day on paper, followed by details could start you off in a positive thought pattern.natural make up

I am a male teen who crossdresses. My parents hate me for it. Any advice?
I am 13. Height: 5' 8 1/2''. weight: about 200 lbs slightly obise One younger sibling and mom availibleI am a male teen who crossdresses. My parents hate me for it. Any advice?
It shouldn't matter to them...parents should love you no matter what. I know that if I were gay my dad wouldn't really care (dunno about my mom)...
I would suggest that you just wait until you know for sure you are gay or not. You might ease up on the crossdressing until that time. When you do know for sure, you can go nuts. (Make sure it's school appropriate though!).
You're still really young and at that age where you just experimenting with new stuff. Make sure you're not just bi either, it happens.I am a male teen who crossdresses. My parents hate me for it. Any advice?
If you were born a man then you were ment to be a man not a girl. Thus for you should be a man. If you were born a woman you were ment to be a woman so act like a woman.
Ummm I would stop crossdressing. I know it sounds a bit much, but let them know that you do respect their morals and stuff. They don't hate you, but they just want the best for you.
You are going through a stage. If you are gay or not, you will figure it out. Be strong and brave. They will understand and still love you.
